NAPHA CONSULTING FAQ
1/ How long does ISO consulting take for a business?
A: How fast or slow ISO consulting takes depends on your company’s current situation. If your company does not have staff familiar with ISO, has never worked according to standards, does not have the habit of working following procedures or documented regulations, and employees mainly work based on verbal instructions from superiors, personal experience, and habits, then you should plan at least 6 months for consulting & implementing ISO.
If your company already operates according to documented procedures, you can plan consulting time to achieve certification in less than 6 months.
If your company already has dedicated staff and is operating very well according to an established documented system, it may take 1–2 months.
2/ How much does ISO consulting cost?
A: There is no standard fee for ISO consulting. The cost depends on the actual situation of each company: company size, number of departments, number of employees, complexity of the industry, and difficulty of each standard. Therefore, reputable consulting companies usually need detailed information about your company before providing a consulting quotation.
3/ Why does it cost so much for my company to implement ISO?
A: Whether ISO implementation costs a lot depends on how your company applies it.
If ISO is applied formally, just for compliance, only to obtain a certificate without adding any value to the company, then ISO will indeed cost a lot and become a financial burden.
However, if your company applies ISO seriously and voluntarily because it recognizes the benefits, not just for compliance, then ISO becomes a useful management tool, bringing real improvements. In this case, the money spent on consulting and implementing ISO is not just a cost, but an investment. You will recover your investment and “profit” through improvements, cost reductions, and increased customer satisfaction.
