Provide guidance and support for enterprises in completing the procedures required to obtain the Certificate of Eligibility for Food Safety, issued by the competent authorities under the Ministry of Health of Vietnam, Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, or Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam.

The Certificate of Eligibility for Food Safety is issued by the competent authority under the Ministry of Health of Vietnam, Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, or Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, depending on the business sector and the type of products that the enterprise manufactures or trades.

A. PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING A FOOD SAFETY LICENSE UNDER THE Ministry of Health of Vietnam

Receive documents, information, and requirements from the client: Business registration certificate, business scope, location, personnel, facilities, etc.

Provide free and comprehensive consultation on legal requirements, conditions for ensuring Food Safety compliance, and the procedures for obtaining the Certificate of Eligibility for Food Safety.

Conduct a site assessment, provide consulting support, and assist the enterprise in correcting facility-related issues: arranging the production process based on the one-way principle, equipment and utensils, and requirements for walls, ceilings, floors, ventilation systems, electrical systems, waste management, storage areas, etc.

Provide and guide the enterprise in completing administrative documentation, such as: product sample retention logbook, incoming raw material inspection records, processing monitoring records, employee health management records, etc.

Arrange Food Safety training courses and support the issuance of training certificates; provide consultation and guidance for employee health examinations (if the enterprise has not yet conducted them).

Prepare and submit the application dossier for the Certificate of Eligibility for Food Safety to the competent authority and assist with the required administrative fees.

Support and accompany the enterprise during the official facility inspection conducted by the authority together with the company’s Food Safety manager.

Receive the issued Food Safety Certificate and deliver it to the client.

Procedures for Obtaining the Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate Issued by the Ministry of Health of Vietnam Include:

  1. Application form for the issuance of the Certificate of Eligibility for Food Safety;
  2. Business Registration Certificate indicating food-related business activities (a copy certified by the business owner);
  3. Description of facilities, equipment, and utensils used by the establishment;
  4. List of food production and food service personnel who have been certified as having knowledge of food safety by the business owner;
  5. Health examination certificates of the business owner and employees directly involved in food processing and food service.

B. PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING A FOOD SAFETY LICENSE UNDER THE Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam

  1. Receive documents, information, and requirements from the client, including the Business Registration Certificate, business scope, location, workforce, and facilities.
  2. Provide free and comprehensive consultation on legal requirements, conditions for ensuring Food Safety compliance, and the procedures for obtaining the Certificate of Eligibility for Food Safety.
  3. Conduct a site assessment, provide consulting support, and assist the enterprise in correcting facility-related issues, such as arranging the production process according to the one-way flow principle, as well as reviewing utensils, equipment, and conditions related to walls, ceilings, floors, ventilation systems, electrical systems, waste management, and storage areas.
  4. Provide and guide the enterprise in completing the required administrative documentation, such as product sample retention logbooks, incoming raw material inspection records, processing monitoring records, and employee health management records.

Procedures for Obtaining the Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate Issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam Include:

  1. Application form for the issuance of the Certificate of Eligibility for Food Safety;
  2. Business Registration Certificate indicating food-related business activities (a copy certified by the business owner);
  3. Description of facilities, equipment, and utensils used by the establishment;
  4. Food Safety knowledge certificates of the business owner and individuals directly involved in food production and business activities;

Procedures for Obtaining the Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate Issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam Include:

  2. Determine Critical Control Points (CCPs) to control or minimize identified hazards.
  3. Establish critical limits and procedures for controlling each CCP.
  4. Develop records and monitoring systems to ensure compliance with the established CCP limits and control procedures.
  5. Conduct verification and evaluation activities to confirm the effectiveness of the HACCP program.
  6. Register and submit the application for HACCP certification to a reputable certification body.

Carry out audits, inspections, and corrective actions to address any identified non-conformities and ensure full compliance with the HACCP system.
